By using the BMS, standards can quantify the impact of the certification on biodiversity protection and evaluate the effectiveness of certain measures or the standard criteria in general.
- Food production companies and retailers which want to monitor the performance of the farms involved in the supply chain, the effectiveness of their souring rules and/or programs etc.
- Cooperatives or similar organizations which want to monitor the performance of their members, to evaluate the effectiveness of measures implemented, identify gaps regarding the compliance with certain standard schemes etc.
